Mr. Silbersher stated, “There is a growing chorus of inventors who do not view themselves as trolls, but rather as seeking fair compensation from larger companies that are illegally making money off their ideas. We intend to service that demand.”

On the defense-side, the firm brings substantial experience to the table in both competitor cases and in defending those brought by non-practicing entities (NPEs). “Many of these companies lack in-house patent counsel. They require a higher-level of responsiveness and advice from their attorneys. Our business model is set up to cater to that demand," said Mr. Kolmykov.

With more than thirty-years of collective experience, the members of Kroub, Silbersher & Kolmykov have acted on behalf of plaintiffs and defendants, through both trials and appeals, in patent litigations throughout the country, including extensive experience in the ITC as well as within each of the districts that see the most patent cases, including the Eastern District of Texas, the Eastern District of Virginia, the District of Delaware, the Central District of Florida and the Northern District of California, among others.

Prior to founding, Kroub, Silbersher & Kolmykov PLLC, Gaston Kroub was a partner at a highly-regarded international law firm in New York, which he joined in 2011 after nearly a decade in the New York office of another leading international law firm.
