Included onboard the TR430 is a GPS receiver which permits the PDA user to determine their location, and with a suitable mapping application, the position of other V38R users.

New PMS-7115 Rugged Panel PC

Broadax Systems Inc. today has announced a new line of Panel PCs, these are the Rugged Panel PCs. What separates this Rugged Panel PC from the Industrial Panel PCs is that it has a NEMA 4, IP66 front sealed bezel, Uses an enhanced Infrared Touch screen so it is immune to cuts, scratches, gouges and wear. The front bezel is sealed from water and dust; this makes it optimal for use in harsh environments. The RFOT never needs to be connected to a computer as it has been designed for two way wireless communication. Full communication can be performed directly from a central PC. In addition to wirelessly transmitting data, the RFOT also stores each reading to internal memory for backup.
