The Top Four No-contract Business VoIP Telephone Providers Announced by Voxilla.com

(PRWEB) October 22, 2013

Businesses that use Voice over Internet Protocol, also known as “VoIP” telephone service, enjoy a distinct advantage over their competitors. The next-generation technology can be as much as 80% cheaper than an alternative land-line system, and the phones come packed with “frea-tures” already included in the price of the monthly service plan like call-waiting, call-forwarding, and video-conferencing. In addition to being more technologically versatile, many business VoIP service providers have now reduced the risk of switching to over to the groundbreaking technology by eliminating mandatory, long-term service contracts. After reviewing hundreds of providers service plans nationwide the telecom experts at Voxilla.com announce “The Top Four No-contract Business VoIP Telephone Providers.”

1. Jive

Jive Communications offers business VoIP service with month-to-month contracts for as low as $ 19.95/month. And although Jive doesn't require a contract, users can still access all of the business-boosting features that make Jive one of the best providers in the industry like unlimited local and long-distance calling anywhere in the US, advanced call-routing, and US-based tech support.

2. RingCentral

RingCentral business VoIP service is $ 19.99/month with no service contract, and they even provide the set-up and activation at no-cost as well. The plan includes unlimited calling in the US, virtual faxing, and SMS messaging. The 300.000 businesses that already use RingCentral can manage their office telephone system through an easy to use web-portal from anywhere there’s an Internet connection, adding and altering lines and extensions with the touch of a button.

3.Vocalocity

Until October 31st, Vocalocity is offering one of two incentives for new customers to choose from: Either an HD VoIP Phone, or, a month of service at no cost. That offer comes on top of the ordinarily low-cost monthly plan starting at $ 19.95/month. Regardless of which no-contract necessary option the customer chooses, all of the sophisticated features of the business plan come with it. Customers can expect to Wow clients with features like Virtual Secretary call forwarding, Customer Relations Management (CRM) integration, custom hold-music, messages, and more.

4. Nextiva

Nextiva Hosted Business Phone Service is available for $ 19.95/month. New customers can port (keep) their old phone numbers, and get underway with their new system in minutes with Nextiva patented “plug-and-play” IP telephones. Nextiva also offers unlimited local, long-distance, and toll-free calling in the US and Canada, and their US-based customer service and support is complemented by their easy-to-use online management system. The Nextiva business phone plan is designed with mobility and scalability in mind, for any growing business.

As expected, the added incentive of no-contract” or month-by-month service with a 30-day money-back guarantee has created a mad dash to secure a business VoIP provider. The rush has also increased the number of different plans available on the market, and therefore each business or individual should consult more than one provider to ensure they are getting the most advantageous plan to suit their particular needs.

VoIPReview.org Picks the Best VoIP Providers for Holiday Savings

(PRWEB) November 29, 2012

Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak got a lot of attention in the world of telecom a few weeks ago when he hailed Microsofts latest developments in voice recognition technology. As quoted by The Seattle Times, Wozniak praised an unreleased Microsoft invention that allows users to speak into the computer and hear their words outputted in a different language.

For Wozniak, the sophistication of Microsofts new voice recognition technology that allows a machine to recognize spoken language well enough to return a correct (or correct enough) translation is astounding and a little intimidating.

Microsoft has not been the customer favorite in recent years, but with praise from a public figure like Steve Wozniak, it seems like things can only get better from here for Microsoft. Referring to Microsofts advancements in voice recognition technology, Wozniak has said They mightve been doing that for three years while Apple was just used to cranking out the newest iPhone and falling a little behind, and that worries me greatly.

So while Apple has fallen a bit behind in this blossoming field of technological development, Microsoft has charged full speed ahead. But how does Microsoft stack up to other major VoIP providers from a consumer perspective? Indisputably, Microsoft carved out a great niche for themselves in the telecom market when they bought Skype. But just because Skype has a great public presence, it may not be a customer's best option for VoIP service.

Check out VoIP Reviews picks for the best VoIP service for this holiday season. VoIP providers have been selected based on their low costs and their features for long distance and international calling. With the right VoIP service, a customer might be able to save enough money to make up some of the cost of that iPad mini under the Christmas tree.

1.) VOIPo: VOIPo has one of the best offers in residential VoIP service, around $ 6.21/month for a 2 year contract. A plan with VOIPo includes unlimited calling within the United States and 60 minutes of free calling to international phone numbers, perfect for making holiday calls to those relatives who live overseas.

2.)Phone Power: Extremely cheap service, just $ 4.99/month for residential VoIP. This includes unlimited calling within the US and 60 free minutes of international calling.

3.) BroadVoice: Perfect phone service for anyone with lots of family overseas. Call anywhere within the US for $ 17.95/month, or upgrade to a plan with unlimited calling to a selection of 80 other countries for $ 24.95/month. Ideal for making all of those holiday calls to relatives all over the world.

4.) Axvoice: Choose plans for calling within the US, or international calling. Plans start at $ 8.25/month for unlimited calling within the US. Plans start at $ 16.95/month for unlimited international calling to more than 45 different countries.

Skype charges competitively low rates, starting around $ 2.99/month for calling within the US and Canada, and $ 13.99/month for international calling plans. But read the fine print carefully: an international plans that includes calling to China costs $ 21.99/month with Skype.

In the next few years, Apple may race to catch up with these recent trends in voice recognition technology development. But until then, that new iPad mini may be a bit behind the current as VoIP companies continue to make strides in marketing advanced voice recognition technology at low prices.

At http://www.voipreview.org, customers can find their best matches in VoIP service providers. VoIP Review features customer reviews and ratings for lots of different VoIP service providers along with editorial reviews and analytical comparisons of VoIP service for the home and business.

Internet Service Providers in the US Industry Market Research Report Now Available from IBISWorld

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) August 18, 2012

The move toward ubiquitous internet access and the exponential growth of internet traffic has benefited the Internet Service Providers industry in the past five years. Regulatory overhaul in 2012 will necessitate government-subsidized network expansion and increase the number of US broadband connections, driving revenue growth, says IBISWorld industry analyst Kevin Boyland. From 2007 to 2012, IBISWorld estimates industry revenue will grow at a 3.4% annualized rate to $ 79.3 billion, with a push toward broadband expansion in rural markets boosting industry revenue 7.6% in 2012.

Business customers have emerged as the most lucrative growth market in the Internet Service Providers industry. Businesses yield high profit margins for ISPs, with dedicated internet access services contributing about a quarter of all industry revenue, adds Boyland. The increasing usage of cloud computing (which involves accessing data and software through the internet) is boosting demand for high-speed access services. Additionally, ISPs are increasing their array of value-added services, acquiring cloud and infrastructure consulting firms to profit further from the business market. As demand for value-added business services continues to increase, industry revenue is forecast to grow over the next five years.

The Internet Service Providers industry has a moderate level of market share concentration and is characterized by a dominant group of larger players and numerous small players. Concentration increased over the past five years because of merger and acquisition activity. Major player Century Link's acquisition of Qwest Communications more than doubled its market share in 2011. In an effort to increase subscriber numbers and to expand business service offerings, major firms like AT&T and Comcast have acquired rural ISPs and cloud infrastructure providers. Over the next five years, industry consolidation will continue as ISPs increase subscriber bases and network scope. As the market converges, distinct technological systems are evolving toward a set of data services that are bundled together and marketed as one product. Major operators now offer packages that bundle TV, voice, internet and mobile services together. Smaller ISPs that are unable to compete on price with larger operators' economies of scope will find niche markets, such as small businesses, or leave the industry.

Consumer sentiment about the internet as a necessity rather than a luxury will pressure industry operators in the future; service prices and network management practices will fall under increasing scrutiny. As internet traffic continues to increase, ISPs will exercise more control over their networks and will likely restructure their pricing to a usage-based model despite opposition from consumers. Issues like net neutrality (i.e. treating all internet traffic the same) may lead the FCC to assert more regulatory authority over the industry, pressuring profitability. Open-Xchange Announces Four Additional SaaS Providers

Nuremberg, Germany (PRWEB) December 10, 2008

Open-Xchange has been selected by four additional web hosting companies, system integrators and service providers that now offer collaboration online to their customers in a software-as-a-service (SaaS) offering, rather than traditional on-premise software.

The Open-Xchange open source groupware enables users to share e-mails, calendars, contacts, tasks and documents.

Swiss Dynamic-NET (http://www.dynamic-net.ch) with 20,000 customers and 500 resellers (ranks among the Top 10 Internet providers in Switzerland) recently added Open-Xchange to its portfolio of offerings. "The benefits of hosted applications are compelling for end users," said Sascha Sandi, CEO of dynamic-net.ch AG. "They don't have to worry about hardware, software, Internet connectivity and maintenance. We provide them with complete e-mail and groupware functionality -- and at surprisingly low cost." The web hosting company is based in Luzern, Switzerland, and services customers in the region including Italy, Germany and Spain.

System integrator and service provider, VAPS (VW Audi Partner Services) (http://www.vaps.de), serves 2,000 VW and Audi car dealers in Germany. There are some 30,000 accounts served by a centralized e-mail system. VAPS replaced its existing mail system with Open-Xchange Hosting Edition, while making additional groupware function available to their customers.

System integrator, Econtec, based in Nuremberg, Germany, is using Open-Xchange Hosting Edition to offer e-mail, contacts and calendar functionality to its customer, Apollo Optik -- a leading optometrist with more than 750 offices in Germany and Austria.

Another system integrator, SIEGNETZ (http://www.siegnetz.de) in Siegen, Germany, launched hosted Open-Xchange with its own brand, OJONET (http://www.ojonet.de) . The OJONET offering includes a virtual server with guaranteed minimum CPU and RAM resources. "OJONET is an attractive and cost-effective alternative for small- and mid-size enterprises (SMEs) to run groupware and document management systems with dedicated resources," explains Oliver Seitz, IT managing director, SIEGNETZ. "Because we take care of hardware and software, system maintenance, security, backup, spam and virus protection, we enable these SMEs with limited IT capabilities and small IT budgets the use of innovative software solutions."

In addition to these companies, leading hosting providers, led by Network Solutions (U.S.), 1&1 Internet (Germany), JMF (Japan), OVH (France) and Hostpoint (Switzerland) provide more than 8 million users worldwide with hosted business-class e-mail, personal information management (PIM), and full groupware solutions built on Open-Xchange. In addition, the on-premise version -- Open-Xchange Server -- is installed by more than 3,500 companies and organizations worldwide.

"We are seeing amazing market uptake on our hosted collaboration offering sold as SaaS," said Rafael Laguna, CEO of Open-Xchange. "SaaS is a great business model for system integrators and service providers because it provides an additional source of recurring revenues, along with a tight customer linkage."

Hosted e-mail accounts grew from 1 billion in 2006 to 1.6 billion in 2008 and will be at 2.2 billion in 2012, according to technology market research firm, The Radicati Group, based in Palo Alto, California.

About Open-Xchange

Open-Xchange is the innovator of scalable and integrated open source email and collaboration solutions for enterprises, academic institutions, and government authorities. It provides an on-premise version called Open-Xchange Server Edition, along with Open-Xchange Hosting Edition, which enables web hosting companies to provide an easy-to-use and feature-rich application delivered as Software as a Service (SaaS). The Open-Xchange Hosting Edition is architected to integrate into a hosting provider's existing infrastructure such as authentication, provisioning, billing, and email storage and does not require that these systems be replaced.

Appointment-Plus Time Slot Stats Reveal Complexity of Scheduling, Need for Home Service Providers to Implement a Proven Online Scheduling Software Solution

Scottsdale, AZ (PRWEB) June 05, 2012

Appointment-Plus, the worldwide expert in online business scheduling software solutions and creator of the scheduling industrys most flexible and feature-rich application, has announced the findings of a recently-released analysis that shows over 25 different time slot durations utilized by its 5,000-plus clientele base. This fact demonstrates the complexity of scheduling appointments and reservations and affirms the need for home service providers to adopt a configurable scheduling solution that lets them determine their own time-slot increments, not just select them from a small offering of pre-determined times.

The findings show that 15-minute time slots are utilized the most, followed by 30-minute, 60-minute, 10-minute and five-minute. The length of time slots utilized by Appointment-Plus clients ranges from one minute all the way up to 360 minutes, showcasing the need businesses and organizations have for time-management solutions.

Businesses that especially benefit from customizable time slots include appliance repair, handyman services and landscaping services.

Not every business schedules 15-minute or 30-minute appointments, says Bob La Loggia, CEO of Appointment-Plus. Some may schedule one-minute appointments, while others may have a need to schedule 120-minute blocks of time.

The One-Size-Fits-All model simply does not work when it comes to appointment-scheduling, as these stats clearly show.

As recently reported by the International Franchise Association, the franchise industry is performing stronger than it did a year ago. Thats good news for home-service franchises such as Spring-Green, Handyman Connection and Mr. Appliance. But as these businesses expand and service appointments continue to increase, so too does the need for a proven scheduling solution that can accommodate their specific and oftentimes varied appointment time durations.

Appointment-Plus online appointment scheduling software gives home service providers the ability to tailor the perfect booking solution by enabling them to select the exact, specific time-slot duration for their appointments and reservations. This option allows them to keep existing scheduling procedures in place without having to change or comprise them when implementing an online scheduling solution.

Additionally, home service technicians benefit from the softwares instant accessibility from any Internet-connected smartphone, tablet, laptop or other device, which enables them to view and manage their schedules while on the go, on-site with their customers, or from any other locale outside their home or office.

As the best online scheduling solution for all-sized businesses and organizations, Appointment-Plus provides the scheduling industrys most proven and dependable features and functionality to automate, streamline and simplify the entire scheduling process from start to finish. This includes online self-scheduling, whereby individuals can book their own appointments and reservations from any Internet connectionincluding mobile scheduling on smartphones and tablets such as the iPadat any hour of the day; automated e-mail and text message reminders sent prior to a scheduled appointment or reservation time; and robust reporting and record-keeping capabilities.

Especially well-suited for enterprises, franchises, corporations and large and medium-sized businesses, Appointment-Plus offers the most advanced suite of services designed to enhance the unique scheduling needs of these groups. Included in its Scheduling Cloud Enterprise Solution are:

Application programming interface (API) functionality and Web services that allow for seamless integration with existing software systems.
A highly scalable system that allows organizations to easily accommodate increases in workload, users and growth across numerous locations.
The most configurable scheduling software system available.
24-hour support from its headquarters in Scottsdale, Ariz.
Dedicated business and support contacts.
Turnkey, existing solutions that are instantly ready to go live.
Custom graphic user interface (GUI) development.

Real Occupational DNA and Drug Testing Providers Release New Web Site

Ontario, CA (PRWEB) May 02, 2012

Real Occupational Testing Services, the Southern California industry leaders in providing DNA testing as well as individual and employee drug testing services, has announced the release of their new state-of-the-art web site. According to their president, the Ontario-based testing companys web site goes live on May 2 and will better reflect the high quality and values of what our brand has evolved into over the past five years.

Since we built our very first web site five years ago, our company has grown spectacularly, said Chris Phelps, President and CEO of Real Occupational Testing Services. Our advanced DNA testing technologies and programs rival the largest labs and clinics in the nation. Weve become much more high tech, as it were, as weve increased our products and services to both individuals and workplaces.

Developed by BrightBulb Solutions, a boutique Internet marketing firm based in Los Angeles, the web site highlights the wide range of DNA products and services offered by Real Occupational in the areas of DNA testing, including such tests as paternity, maternity, grandparentage, avuncular, prenatal and immigration DNA testing. Short, and to-the-point explanations of each test are included along with frequently asked questions. Clients can schedule their appointments online or walk-ins are accommodated six days per week.

While the need for DNA testing is becoming more understood and practiced, it is the drug testing services that, according to Phelps, is the companys bread and butter. Real Occupational is the leading drug testing lab providing services in Riverside and San Bernardino counties and as far away as Los Angeles with the genesis of their on-site testing services that began last year.

We provide federal drug testing and hair and urine testing for individuals and teens as well as a host of large, local businesses and educational centers that have zero tolerance drug and alcohol policies and programs set up, says Phelps. For companies and schools and organizations that dont have a drug-free workplace policy and program in place, we can assist them in designing and implementing them.

Real Occupational is the largest company in the Inland Empire offering California Department of Transportation testing, including administration of Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) medical examinations for commercial drivers with a class A or B drivers license.

According to Phelps, though Real Occupational has grown in size and offerings, all of the small personal touches and focus on client service that is the foundation of the company remains.

The irony is that we work in an industry that is technical and sterile, but weve managed to keep perfecting the warmth and professionalism with which we treat our clients, on site or off site, says Phelps. Too often a small operation gets larger and loses the magic, but weve been intent on assuring that our service grows with the products and technology. We wanted our new web site to reflect that fact and I believe we accomplished that.

LevelCloud Named In World’s Top 100 Cloud Service Providers

Corona, CA (PRWEB) May 17, 2012

In the short history of the CSP market, the worlds top 100 providers have emerged as leaders in providing a reliable platform and growth to the market overall. Combined revenues for these providers hit 2.3 billion dollars in 2011, with no signs of slowing in 2012. Among the list were the large names in our industry including Amazon Web Services, Cloud Sherpas, and MindShift who was recently purchased by Best Buy. Although a relatively young player to the market, LevelCloud made the list! Focusing solely on integrating the industrys leading solutions (including Citrix, Vmware, OS33) and delivering them through the MSP channel, LevelCloud has gained traction quite rapidly. With a main stronghold in the Southwest, LevelCloud's user base is quickly spreading throughout the rest of the nation.

"We have law firms, manufacturers, non-profits and many other verticals on our platform today. Providing a proven business-class total cloud solution across the nation is a rewarding feeling after years of building and crafting our business model", said LevelCloud CEO Biren Shukla. To be mentioned as one of the worlds top providers is an honor, especially to be on the same list as some of the giants in our industry, mentioned Shukla.

LevelClouds engineering staff has been working diligently to integrate todays leading solutions while continuously testing various solutions for what is coming tomorrow. We feel very confident in our platforms stability, performance, and redundancy. Our partners and clients depend on us to provide their network to them 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, said LevelCLoud CTO Olivier Matime. We are working harder than ever to continuously innovate and prepare for the computing market 5 years from now so that our partner base always have the leading solutions for their customers, mentioned Matime.

Today LevelCloud has authorized approximately 20 partners across the US to provide services to end users. The plans are to have enough partners to deliver services to all areas of the country and then explore operations overseas. I could not be more proud of our team and what we have achieved in only a couple of years, but we are nowhere near our internal goals and have a long way to go. Our plans for 2012 and 2013 put us on track to become the leader in providing turnkey cloud solution through MSPs in the U.S., said Shukla.
