Tri-State Hardwood Flooring Extends Its Capacity to Meet Growing Consumer Demand

West Long Branch, NJ (PRWEB) December 05, 2013

Full-service hardwood floor company, Tri-State Hardwood Flooring, is expanding their repertoire to meet the demand of clients seeking intricate, unique designs on their hardwood flooring. Better known as laser cutting, this process involves the use of a high-powered beam to cut material (wood, acrylic, plastic, fabric, etc.) with computer-controlled parameters. Depending on the material, the laser beam either vaporizes, burns or melts everything in its direct path. Furthermore, laser cutting is an efficient process as it greatly reduces the likelihood of needing finishing work.

In business for over ten years, Tri-State Hardwood Flooring sees the need to offer this service due to immense customer satisfaction:

"Since customer satisfaction is our main priority at Tri-State, we're committed to providing our clients with a range of high-value services that will increase the worth of their homes," says Tri-State Secretary, Talita Santos. "It's a tough market out there, especially in New Jersey, and adding this unique touch will not only make the flooring aesthetically pleasing, but will turn an ordinary home into a prized possession."

With the cutting-edge technology employed by Tri-State, they have the capacity to work with each customer to the fullest extent. From what they've seen so far, customers are partial to three dimensional wood medallions, borders and engravings. However, Tri-State plans to offer a book of designs to choose from in the future, given their connections with graphic design agencies.

Tri-State Hardwood Flooring is a full service hardwood floor company in West Long Branch, NJ that serves clients in the New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania area.

Cloud Expo Europe moves to ExCeL London to meet 45% growth in demand

London, UK (PRWEB UK) 16 August 2013

Huge surge in demand from some of the worlds biggest technology companies has led to the UKs Best Trade Show*, Cloud Expo Europe, moving to ExCeL for its 2014 event in February.

Following the success of the 2013 show at Olympia, which attracted more than 6,850 attendees, AWS, Dell, NTT and Outsourcery have already joined the growing list of exhibitors for the 2014 event, which will take place later than usual on the 26th and 27th February.

The expansion to ExCeL provides room for new additions to the Expo, including a Software Defined Networking programme, dedicated Big Data content and a new dedicated programme for developers all designed to attract more decision-makers from enterprises, service providers and the cloud ecosystem.

An impressive range of speakers, headed up by Netflix CTO Adrian Cockroft, will also have the crowds flocking to the event. Confirmed panel speakers include Chris Kemp, CEO of Nebula and former CTO at NASA, Daniel Leabeau, Group CIO at GlaxoSmithKline, as well as cloud computing experts from eBay, PayPal, Vodafone, HSBC, Deutsche Bank, Philips and Citibank.

Thomas Standley, Cloud Expo Europe Show Director, said: The move to ExCeL is a really strong and positive move to build on the rapidly growing success of Cloud Expo Europe. Vitally, it means we now have as much room to grow as we need, all on one level and with our Keynote and other content hubs located right at the heart of the show, driving traffic to exhibitors' stands.

To accommodate the move we have also moved the event to the end of February. This will be welcomed by many, as show preparations have previously been disrupted by Christmas and it also allows us to run an even more effective campaign in the two months prior to the event.

The move has also been welcomed by exhibitors, including Omer Wilson, Marketing Director EMEA at Digital Realty, who said: We have seen Cloud Expo Europe grow exponentially over the last couple of years and are excited to follow the show to ExCeL as it prepares to grow its visitor and exhibitor numbers even further as Europes leading technology event.

CloserStill has also announced that the event will take place alongside Data Centre World, the largest data centre event in Western Europe. Data Centre World, which was recently acquired by CloserStill, made the move to ExCeL earlier this year and attracted a record-breaking attendance, up 19 per cent on the previous year, and its biggest ever exhibitor line-up.

Phil Nelson, Director of CloserStill, said: The combination of Cloud Expo Europe and Data Centre World is a compelling prospect. Both events will retain their separate identities, entrances, content and audiences but the two events together, with over 300 exhibitors and more than 10,000 visitors, will instantly be the biggest IT and technology gathering in the UK.

Jonathan Brown, Marketing Director of leading Cloud Expo Europe exhibitor Interoute, also endorsed the co-location with DCW: Relocating Cloud Expo Europe to the ExCeL Centre is a smart move, positioning the event in a world class venue. Running the show alongside Data Centre World should attract many more delegates to the event, boosting the conversations and interactions that have made this such a successful show for us in the past.

*On 21st June Cloud Expo Europe won the exhibition industry's Blue Riband award, the Association of Exhibition Organisers' Best Trade Show accolade for an unprecedented second successive year

Picture Perfect Hiring: Demand for Graphic Designers Grows to New Highs

New York, NY (PRWEB) October 02, 2012

In August, more than 16,000 jobs were advertised online for graphic designers in the United States, according to WANTED Analytics (, the leading source of real-time business intelligence for the talent marketplace. Although agencies and design services companies have the most demand, hiring by other employers is growing as they may bring this talent internally to focus on branding efforts and make their products more recognizable. The number of job ads increased rapidly in 2012, surpassing pre-recession hiring volumes and reaching new highs in August.

Candidates are often required to have specialized skills, particularly when using design software and technologies. The most commonly required skills for graphic designers include:

1. Adobe Photoshop

2. Graphical User Interface Design (UI)

3. Adobe InDesign

4. Adobe Creative Suite

5. Website Development

6. Typography

7. Microsoft Office

8. Microsoft PowerPoint

9. Adobe Dreamweaver

10. Adobe Illustrator

Graphic designers are in-demand across the United States. The metropolitan areas with the highest volume of listings in August were New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, and Washington (DC). The New York area saw the most available positions; however, Chicago experienced the greatest growth in demand over the past year of these five areas. Here, the number of job ads that were available during August was up more than 70% compared to the same month last year.

As more employers focus on creative aspects of their brand, hiring demand for graphic designers is likely to continue. Currently, the supply of potential candidates with design experience creates moderate challenges for employers. According to the Hiring Scale, employers across the United States spend an average of 5.2 weeks advertising jobs and sourcing candidates for graphic design positions. However, each location and region of the US will experience a varying degree of difficulty when recruiting. Companies in Seattle, Washington and San Francisco, California are currently experiencing some of the most challenging overall recruiting conditions. Competition has emerged as hiring in these areas is growing more quickly than the local talent supply can support. Job ads in this area remain online for an average of 6 weeks.

In comparison, the Hiring Scale also shows the locations experiencing the least difficulties recruiting this talent are Springfield, Massachusetts and Louisville, Kentucky. Larger talent supply compared to the hiring demand by employers in these metro areas means that recruiters are likely to fill open graphic design positions faster than average. The average duration of a job ad in these locations is 4 weeks, more than one week shorter than the national average.

The Hiring Scale measures conditions in local job markets by comparing hiring demand and labor supply. The Hiring Scale is part of the WANTED Analytics platform that offers business intelligence for the talent marketplace.
