Brady Releases LINK360 Lockout App for iOS Capabilities

MILWAUKEE, Wis (PRWEB) May 28, 2013

Brady announced today the release of its new LINK360 lockout/tagout app for iPhones and iPads. The new app allows users to create lockout procedures directly from their smart phones and tablets, which allows for faster procedural approvals.

The application also allows mobile users to create lockout procedures right at the machine, adding lockout steps as they identify hazardous energy sources and uploading photos with annotated notes identifying lockout points. The new mobile app also provides authorized users access to all the procedural information, regardless of their location. This allows individuals to close gaps and update information, even when they are not at the facility.

Marlon Davis, software business lead for Brady, addressed that many of Bradys LINK360 customers have already equipped their employees with iPads and iPhones in order to free them from their desk. Employees can be more effective on the plant floor, as long as they have the right tools, states Davis. We are in the post-PC computing era and are moving toward the use of computing devices such as smart phones and tablets that are more accessible and offer more efficient tools for lockout tagout procedure management.

The LINK360 mobile apps also have tools for safety managers and plant managers. Managers can review progress on lockout/tagout procedure creation and auditing activities through charts available in the apps. These managers have multiple site responsibility and the app offers access to this type of information for procedure review and approval procedures, even when traveling between locations.

Bradys LINK360 EH&S and lean software platform launched in August 2012 and gives managers a 360-degree view on all activities performed to create, use, and update equipment visuals at a single location or across many locations. In addition to the lockout/tagout procedure management tool, it also offers a maintenance procedure management center.

Brady Pipe Markers and Unbeatable Customer Service

Brady Pipe Markers and Unbeatable Customer Service

(PRWEB) July 24, 2005

Pipe markers are identifying labels and directional arrows placed on pipes to identify the contents of the pipes, the risk of hazard, and the direction of flow. In addition to identifying potential hazards, properly marked pipes let workers safely trace a process problem and get production back on line faster.

Graphic Products, a leading supplier of custom label printing equipment and supplies, is now carrying the complete line of Brady preprinted pipe markers. They have placed the Brady pipe marker catalog online at: [The above page also provides links for requesting a free pipe marking guide. Two free guides are available, one explaining the ASME/ANSI pipe marking standards and the other detailing the specialized IIAR standards for ammonia pipe marking.

Pipe markers can be either made in-house, using a label printing machine, or preprinted standard markers, such as the Brady pipe markers carried by Graphic Products, can be purchased. When are preprinted pipe markers used?

If you have specialized or difficult pipe marking needs, preprinted pipe markers can handle those needs. For example, snap-on and strap-on pipe markers can be used on pipes that are dirty, oily, greasy or have rough surfaces. Porcelain enamel pipe markers can be used at temperatures up to 1000 degrees (F) and in locations exposed to acid, organic chemicals and solvents. And high performance pipe markers are excellent for harsh environments. They resist abrasion, chemicals, high humidity, sun light (UV) and outdoor weathering.

In addition, if you need a small quantity of pipe markers, and have no other labeling needs, purchasing preprinted markers may be more cost effective.

Brady makes the full range of preprinted pipe markers. From self-sticking industrial grade vinyl, to mechanically applied markers, to high performance and specialized pipe markers, you can get the pipe marking labels you need from Brady--and one of the leading Brady dealers is your customer service specialist, Graphic Products.

Graphic Products has been supplying industrial grade and better custom label printers for over 35 years. With the addition of Brady preprinted pipe markers to their product line, they can now supply all of your pipe marking needs. Plus, Graphic Products’ attitude of having lifetime customers, means they treat their customers well—providing free lifetime support, fast shipping, and outstanding values.
