Complaint Website and Mobile App “GripeO” Partners with Z80Labs Technology Incubator to Develop and Fund New Start Up Business Based in Western New York Area

Buffalo, NY (PRWEB) May 08, 2013

Consumers are increasingly turning to their mobile devices, as well as the web, to solve everyday problems. One such problem is the submission of product and service complaints after a bad experience. In the past, this process has had negative connotations mainly because it can be confusing or uncomfortable. At the same time, businesses have struggled with complaint management, as they balance which technology to use, and how to effectively deal with the growing number of complaints as consumers look to leverage the web as a means to communicate.

“With GripeO, we wanted to solve a very real problem that Consumers and Businesses struggle with every day,” said CEO Mike Klanac, Jr. “The entire complaint resolution process was in dire need of improvement, and the pragmatic application of mobile and web technologies will create dramatic benefits for everyone from stay-at-home moms & dads in charge of the family shopping, typical tech savvy twenty-somethings, to small businesses and large corporations alike. Partnering with Z80Labs was essential to our growth and development as an organization. We’re excited to be based in Buffalo, NY because there is an established and organized community of technical talent capable of incredibly positive disruption.”

GripeO seeks to accomplish this innovation in a variety of ways. As a free service, consumers can quickly and easily file product and service complaints in one consolidated location, and authenticated businesses are encouraged to close those complaints by offering new discounts and savings on future purchases. Complaints that are left open are then offered for purchase in a “Complaint Marketplace” where competitive businesses can buy the complaint in hopes of stealing away new customers with enticing incentives.

The innovative new model is not something that’s lost on Z80Labs’ Chief Principal Innovationist, Dan Magnuszewski. As more and more companies choose the Buffalo area, the goals of Z80Labs are starting to become realized. “I’m very excited to be working with the GripeO team and look forward to helping them become another successful Buffalo tech company.”

GripeO is currently raising more seed funding to increase its speed to market. Early stage investors are encouraged to contact the company for additional demonstration.
