{code}camp Brings 8-Week Web Development Crash Courses to DC Metro Area

McLean, VA (PRWEB) May 06, 2013

{code}camp, a new eight-week web development boot camp, has launched to help would-be web developers in the DC area acquire the tools, techniques, and real-world skills they need to excel in this high-demand, high-pay field.

I created {code}camp to plug a big hole in the DCTech scene a too-small supply of skilled web developers that far outstrips demand, said Founder Emad Ibrahim, a software developer, author, and serial entrepreneur. {code}camp is not just a class; we will offer a wealth of curated content, lectures, guest speakers, and hands-on exercises led by veteran web developers, all hosted in a fast-paced and fun environment.

Training will follow a total-immersion format and include key web technologies like ASP.NET MVC, jQuery, AJAX, and HTML5, as well as topics such as UI design and agile development.

Graduates of {code}camp will enter a healthy job market with 22% growth through 2020, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The demand for web developers currently outstrips supply; more than 100 top tech firms recently signed a letter urging Congress to pass immigration reform that would give them a better shot at staffing tens of thousands of open positions.

The inaugural {code}camp will take place from August, 1st, 2013. The cost is $ 8000/student.
