Author Nancy VanHook invites readers to the story of her life, and her adventures in one of the worlds most exotic places – India. In My Intimate Journey To Self, she details her life, and an encounter that changed it forever, sending her down the road less travelled.
Her tale started normally enough, in front of the computer and on the Internet. There, she met a man named Theja, with whom she felt an immediate connection with. After their online relationship flourished, VanHook decided to take a leap of faith and travel to India to meet the man she considered her soulmate. There, her journey of self-discovery and soul-searching truly began, in the hustle and bustle of Hyderabad, in a strange place with ancient cultures and beliefs, and diverse peoples and lifestyles.
In the course of her journey, she discovers that she is an Indigo, a person gifted with heightened awareness and intuition. She takes some time to acknowledge this, before resuming her quest, now with more than a touch of the esoteric. Lost and still searching, VanHook finds herself on the verge of finding all she is seeking and more, even true love, in the mystical Orient.
My Intimate Journey To Self will delight those seeking stories of travels and adventures in foreign lands, as well as those who believe in soulmates and the power of true love. VanHooks story chronicles a search for self-discovery spanning two continents, and a long-distance romance unlike any other.
