UIEvolution to Speak on Mobile Strategy at CampaignTech in Washington, DC

Kirkland, WA (PRWEB) April 18, 2012

UIEvolution, Inc., the global leader in connected services for mobile, tablet, TV and automotive applications, announced today that President and CEO, Chris Ruff, will speak on a panel titled Mobility: How to Use Mobile For Get Out The Vote (GOTV) at the CampaignTech Conference on April 19, 2012 in Washington, DC. Attendees will learn the importance of using mobile websites, mobile apps and mobile marketing in political campaigns.

Considering that smart phones are overtaking the PC as the number one way to view the internet, mobile apps are quickly becoming a campaigns best mechanism to engage and involve constituents. UIEvolution developed mobile applications for campaigns in 2011, focusing on providing an outreach tool for campaigns.

With the smartphone penetration now at 50%, reaching constituents via mobile only makes sense, said Chris Ruff, President and CEO of UIEvolution. Just like websites were a necessity in 2000, mobile is a necessity in 2012. The political mobile applications we have developed have been quite successful in downloads and engagement.

If developed correctly, a political mobile app will provide valuable data on voters, enable the user to take an action such as vote on Election Day, make a donation, find a place to vote, invite a friend to vote and engage supporters with interactive communication and messaging.

A mobile app in the political vertical should provide an immediate return on investment for campaigns; providing valuable data for voters, enabling constituents to take an action, and engage/re-engage them with highly targeted interactive messaging," says Chris Ruff, President and CEO of UIEvolution. Campaigns should look towards mobile as being the way to reach constituents where they are on their mobile phones.
