Trust Guard Updates Website Pages: Trust Guard vs. Competitors

Ogden, Utah (PRWEB) March 27, 2012

Trust Guard, a website security company, is updating their website pages that compare their PCI Scanning service with competitors. The comparisons were made based on usability, price, and service. The new pages will be up this month in March for the public to see how Trust Guard stands against similar companies.

Dave Brandley, co-founder of Trust Guard commented on the changes, Were just happy that Trust Guard seems to offer the best service for the best value and of course we want to share that information with the public. We always make an effort to watch our competitors to make sure were still offering a lower price and a service instead of a tool, which we believe makes our product more user-friendly.

The new web pages show how Trust Guard compares and differs to Acunetix, Qualys, and and Tenable, all well established vulnerability scanning companies. Among the information listed Trust Guard shows pricing, whether or not their competitors offer Trust Seals, and how they compare in usability.

We found that other companies were charging more than us, yet they offer a tool instead of a service. Basically, merchants have to buy the tool and implement their own security scans. Which is not something easy for many business without a large tech department to decipher the jargon. Whereas we offer a service, and we do the scanning for the merchants and give them reports on how to fix their problems. This way they dont have to think about PCI Scanning, they simply know theyre taken care of. We also found that many of our competitors dont offer Trust Seals which are successful in creating customers trust, which leads to more sales," Said Brandley.

PCI compliance is required by the PCI Standards Council by vendors who store, process, or transmit credit cards. PCI Scanning finds and reports website vulnerabilities that could potentially pose a security threat, so a merchant can close any security holes that may currently leave a site open to hackers.
