Children’s Book Entertains While Teaching Importance of Up-To-Date Pet Tag Identification

The Outside Adventure of Liza and Louie

Denver, Colorado (PRWEB) May 05, 2011

“The Outside Adventure of Liza & Louie," a full-color illustrated children’s story about two cats outside adventure has just been published in paperback and Kindle.

Paul Myrick, Denver author and noted illustrator of the children’s book, says “My intention was to write and illustrate a curious, yet educational children’s book that parents and kids would enjoy sharing and is the perfect bedtime story. Additionally, as many children begin to have pets, this book emphasizes the importance of having up-to-date tag and microchip information so in the event a dog or cat escapes, they can be returned to their home.”

Liza and Louie are two house cats who dream about someday playing in the back yard with the birds, bugs and other outdoor creatures. In “The Outside Adventure of Liza & Louie,” their dream becomes reality when they escape through a back door which was accidentally left open by their owner. Liza and Louie’s outside adventure takes the curious cats beyond the back yard and through a series of fun, yet unexpected events in the story. The cats are safely returned to their home at the end of the story because of the information on their pet tags.

The “Outside Adventure of Liza & Louie” is available on Amazon.com in paperback and Kindle http://amzn.com/1461018315. Kids can visit the cat duo at http://www.lizaandlouie.com for free e-cards and other fun stuff!
