Aprigo Wins Audience Award At TechAviv MA
Boston (PRWEB) September 18, 2009
Waltham-based startup Aprigo took home the audience award at the September 2009 TechAviv meeting. With the majority of the audience vote, Aprigo was selected as the winner at the monthly event for Israeli high tech startups.
Late last month, Aprigo announced the private beta of the free version of their software as a service IT management application, Aprigo NINJA. CEO Gil Zimmermann gave a demonstration of the app to the 85+ in attendance, highlighting Aprigo NINJA’s capabilities and indicating the feature enhancements and additional functionality that will be rolled out in the PRO version coming soon.
After the event, Zimmermann noted “We’ve been working with beta customers for months now building and honing Aprigo NINJA. As part of expanding our Private Beta to a broader audience it was great to vet what we’re doing with some of the sharpest minds in Boston including entrepreneurs, MBA students from HBS, MIT, NEU, Babson, and Dartmouth, VCs and industry execs all in one room. We got some fantastic, honest feedback that we’re already incorporating into what we do and it was good to get affirmation of what we’ve been doing so far. It’s also good to see that we’re not completely drunk on our own Kool-Aid.”
Gil Shneorson Sr. Director of Emerging Technologies Center at EMC added “TechAviv adds real value to entrepreneurs and a way for big company execs to stay involved in the innovation cycle. I was very impressed by the simplicity, yet sophistication of Aprigo’s solution and the SaaS delivery model which removes barriers for managing data in mid-market companies.”
Aprigo is currently accepting new users in their Aprigo NINJA private beta program. Those interested can sign up at http://www.aprigo.com/aprigo-NINJA
