Austin, Texas (PRWEB) February 28, 2011
The OpenFabrics Alliance (OFA), an open source community delivering powerful I/O solutions, today announced a new contest to look at deployments of its OpenFabrics Enterprise Distribution (OFED™) open-source software in high-performance networking applications. All end users of OFED are encouraged to enter the “Most Interesting OFED Deployment” contest to be eligible to win cash prizes in the amount of $ 1,500 (first place), $ 1,000 (second place), and $ 500 (third place). The contest runs through April 1, 2011 and winners will be announced on April 4 at the 2011 OpenFabrics Alliance International Workshop in Monterey, CA.
Entry form requests information on how OFED is being used, increasing productivity and providing a return on investment in high performance computing and enterprise data center deployments. Details and contest entry form are available at http://www.openfabrics.org/OFED_contests.
Entries will be judged by a panel of judges selected by the OpenFabrics Alliance Marketing Working Group based on the following criteria:
Completeness of entry form
