NESLO SOFTWARE, INC. RELEASES CLIPBOARD ROVERÂ VERSION 1.0 AND DESKTOP ROVERÂ VERSION 2.0. Both products utilize their patent pending transparent clipboard sharing technology
(PRWEB) April 30, 2003
Lindon, UTAH (PRWEB) April 28, 2003  Neslo Software, Inc., provider of specialized software tools for working with multiple computers, introduces their newest product Clipboard Rover version 1.0 that allows you to share clipboard data between up to 32 computers over the network. At the same time they announce the availability of Desktop Rover version 2.0 that allows you to control multiple computers from one keyboard and mouse.
Clipboard Rover – allows you to transparently share clipboard data between multiple computers on a network. When data is placed on the clipboard of one computer in the group, it can immediately be pasted on all of the computers in the group. There are no dialogs or special menus to waste the userÂs time. It is as simple as copy on one computer and paste on another. Some key features are:
ÂFile, directory, text, and many registered (application specific) data formats are supported.
ÂNo dialogs, menus, or extra steps are necessary at the time of the copy or remote paste operation.
ÂUp to 32 computers can be configured in a clipboard group to share clipboard data.
ÂData is not transferred between computers until an action performed by the user requires it, and then, only data in the requested format is sent over the network.
ÂMultiple formats for the same data are available to the remote computers so applications can choose the best fit.
ÂAll clipboard data is obfuscated before being moved across the network.
ÂThe most recent local clipboard data is stored on each computer so it can be restored to the clipboard if needed.
Â98, ME, NT, 2K, XP are supported.
This is an excellent tool for testers, developers, or anyone that works with multiple computers to accomplish their tasks. Clipboard Rover is a great addition to the functionality of your KVM switch.
Desktop Rover – With version 2.0, not only will customers be able to control multiple computers with one keyboard and mouse, but our patent pending transparent clipboard sharing technology allows the user to copy and paste between the computers in the virtual desktop. Another important feature available in this version is dual and multi-head support. Dual and multiple display systems can now be part of the virtual desktop group as a client or as the keyboard/mouse server. New features in Desktop Rover version 2.0 are:
ÂCopy and Paste between all computers in the virtual desktop. File, text, and most registered (application specific) clipboard formats are supported.
ÂSimplified virtual desktop configuration – changes made to the group on one computer are automatically configured on the others.
ÂDifferent users can temporarily add a computer to their virtual desktop group allowing shared control of special purpose computer or display systems.
