Xceed Boosts UI Performance in Its Datagrid and Listbox Products

Montreal, QC (PRWEB) January 24, 2011

Xceed today released updates to its datagrid and listbox products, boosting UI performance in Xceed DataGrid for Silverlight, Xceed Ultimate ListBox for Silverlight, Xceed DataGrid for WPF, and Xceed 3D Views for WPF. Fully functional trial versions of these products are available for download at

Xceed DataGrid for Silverlight and Xceed Ultimate ListBox for Silverlight version 1.2 feature improvements to their scrolling when using the scrollbar thumb—with and without animations. Scrolling in this scenario is now smoother than ever before. Various bug fixes are also included in these versions.

Xceed DataGrid for WPF version 4.2 features stunning performance improvements to its Cardflow™ 3D view (also available separately in Xceed 3D Views for WPF). This version takes better advantage of the computer’s video card to help render card animation, providing a vastly smoother scrolling experience. The more cards there are, and the bigger they are, the more pronounced the improvements will be. And because this takes the computation burden off the computer’s CPU, the application’s performance can potentially improve in general.

The products comes with full documentation that fully integrates into Visual Studio for quick access. They also provide C# and VB.NET sample applications that make getting started with it easy. Full C# and XAML source code is available in Blueprint Editions.
