Miami, FL (PRWEB) November 13, 2004

Franklin/Trade Graphics, LLC announces that it has won a Benny, the highest honor in the 2004 Premier Print Awards. The Premier Print Awards recognizes superior achievement in print production, and is the graphic arts industry's largest and most prestigious worldwide printing competition.

Franklin/Trade Graphics also received one Award of Recognition and four Certificates of Merit from the worldwide competition. The company received the awards at the Graph Expo gala ceremony held on Saturday, October 16th at McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois.

Franklin/Trade Graphics competed against 4,400 printing and graphic arts firms from around the world to receive the Benny, which recognizes the top entry in each category.

"Our employees work very hard to give each project the same care and attention. Winning these awards is very gratifying for all of us at Franklin/Trade Graphics," said Peter Dunne, president. "We are very proud to be recognized by the industry as a company that produces top-quality, award-winning materials."

Michael Makin, president and CEO of PIA/GATF, agrees. "The Benny winners represent the very best our industry has to offer. The competition is quite fierce and through hard work and dedicated craftsmanship, Franklin/Trade Graphics produced many award-winning pieces," he said.

For the sixth year in a row, Franklin won more print awards from the Printing Association of Florida than any other printer in the state. The company dominated the large printer class with 17 Bests of Category, winning 18 Awards of Excellence and 47 Judges Awards. Coveted Flamingo trophies were also awarded to Franklin for Best Process Color for its self-promotion piece Incredible Edible Color and Most Creative Use of Paper for the St. Georges International Bank information kit.

The Printing Association of Florida (PAF) Print Awards recognizes the premier printers in the state of Florida. PAF Best of Category winners are submitted to the Premier Print Awards for international competition.
